Benjamin is an agricultural community along U-147 and U-228, three miles north of Payson and four miles west of Spanish Fork. It was established in 1860 and named after Benjamin Franklin Stewart, one of its founders. The community was established in 1862-63 by Benjamin's brother, Andrew Jackson and other settlers from Payson.
